Used ASIS: Furniture that has been purchased, set up in an
office setting and used for a period of time. ASIS is the state or
condition the existing furniture is in without any modifications or
additions. Seller states the used inventory is being sold in ASIS
condition. Buyer then accepts or rejects the present condition
to proceed with purchase.
Previously owned Can be the same as Used Furniture or
can be furniture that was purchased new and never used.
May be unused still in original factory packaging.
Remanufactured/refurbished Inventory that has been modified in
one or more of the following: paint, fabric, laminate, electrical.
Clone/new clone Furniture that has been manufactured new to
look like a name brand. Clone inventories usually have imported
parts or components.
Install Assembling furniture and equipment in the office setting.
De-install Disassembling furniture and removing from office
or warehouse.
Freight Freight delivery by semi-trailer 48 or 53 or
straight truck.
Loading Professional handling of furniture and equipment
and loading to freight trailer or truck.
Dealer Person/s or entity in the business of buying and
reselling furniture, equipment and services.
Broker Person/s or entity that sells furniture and equipment
for an established fee.
